Small, light, and packing plenty of power, the Petzl Bindi headlamp is great for morning trail runs, evening bike rides, backpacking trips, and more. It has a single LED that projects a strong 200-lumen beam on the maximum setting, as well as three lighting modes that let you adjust the light based on proximity, movement, and distance Read More
This is way smaller and easier to pack than my old Incandescent headlamp. I take it with me more often because of this. It is way brighter than any headlamp I've ever owned. Works great. I use it hiking and camping as well as bicycling and walking the dogs at night. Works well enough, I've use it to explore old train tunnels that are over a mile long (talk about a dark spot). Rain, sun, or snow. I have used portable solar panels to recharge it while camping. It works well enough, it got my father to go out and buy himself one. I'd buy it again without a second thought.
Excellent in dark where I toggle between the brightest and lowest setting when walking my dog at night. The bungee cord gives me the freedom to strap it beneath my ponytail near the base of my neck instead of having it around my head. Wearing it around my neck like a fashion statement as an EDC when I have to be indoors gives me the assurance that I will never be without light should there be a blackout while I'm in the washroom, basement carpark or lift.
It's lightweight and comfortable to wear on forehead or neck to use as reading light when you're camping. Love the fact that I would never have to look for batteries again because it's rechargeable!
I wore it to an expo and many people asked me if it was a spy camera that I was wearing! I said you should get one to wear too, it's called Bindi by Petzl on Drop.com!
Light weight, compact, bright and best of all rechargeable. This is replacing my conventional battery powered headlamp and I use these things everyday.
I'm really enjoying mine. It's a great addition to my Ultralight Backpacking kit. The lumens are very bright and adjustable to three different brightness levels by clicking on the power button. Maybe the only issue I have is the power button - it is a bit small and the travel on the button makes it difficult sometimes to press.
This is a great headlamp. I like it because it takes up little space and is very light. The red- light feature is really nice when it is used when other people are around and may be sleeping. The red light is not likely to wake them up while a white light definitely will. I haven't used it enough to know how long it goes between charges.
