I received mine! They're from Gibson. Earpads are glued, I was able to remove one earpad, just to test, and it came off, but I had to use some force. Can someone with earpads that aren't glued, post a picture of the holes that the holding pins go through? I'm trying to determine whether pulling the glue off tears the felt away from the earpads. I see yellow foam on the bottom of it, and heard a tearing sound. It doesn't remove huge chunks, but it appears to tear a piece of the fabric off of the fabric where the holding pins fit into. The aluminum upon first inspection around the earcups themselves seem okay. Tiny bit of glue residue where it ends on one earcup. No biggy really. When putting the earpad back onto the earcup I pressed down on the back of the earcup and heard a bit of crackling as you'd expect from plastic parts. Haven't had much time to really give them 100% attention, because I'm at the office, and it's freaking busy today. I tried them on and they're comfy as hell! I'll check for ink bleeding etc., and sound quality later tonight, maybe near the end of the day 5pm EST. Here are some pics.

ShampooCASame with me, took some of the white foam with the glue like the pictures show, but putting them back on (did not peel off the glue in case they wouldn't go back on right) was not a problem and they seem to be held on there fine. The only other problem I had was the box came with something rattling inside...opened up the box and at the bottom was the plate to the wire clip. It's obviously not something that would make me throw a fit and get a replacement for, but it makes me laugh how terrible these guys are with glue.

n1ke5hSame thing happened to me. I tried taking my headphone out for the first time from the packaging. First thing that came out is that metal piece from the cable manager.
