In the details it states the CON-40 is extra; in the product description it states the converter is included. Which is it MassDrop, and for the love of everything can you PLEASE hire some freaking editors???

Jacobus57The piston-style CON-40 converter is extra, but every Metropolitan fountain pen includes a CON-20 style aerometric converter as well. We've updated the specs to reflect this.

Too bad this drop restricts the metropolitan to the animal collection. I would definitely be more interested in either the standard black/silver/gold or the retro pop pens.

Amon-RukhI agree with Amon-Rukh that I would rather have the Metropolitan in something other than the animal collection. If the Metropolitan was offered with more choices (other than the animal collection) I would jump on this drop. Perhaps the animal collection did not sell well and they are dumping them?

The first batch of the order has been shipped. People whose order has shipped should have received an email with tracking. The second batch of the order should be going out between Wednesday and Thursday. We will make sure to update the group once the complete order ships.

Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 1/12. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.

The vendor is currently working on preparing the order for shipment. Based on current estimates the order should be ready to ship to our warehouse by the middle of this week. As soon as the order is on its way we will make sure to update the group with the estimated date of arrival at our warehouse.

We are in contact with the vendor and awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing Friday morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these in our warehouse. We will update the group as soon as these are on the way.
