Are the pends in this drop compatible with international standard converter?

Antony.HThe Metropolitans in this drop are compatible only with Pilot cartridges and converters, as all other Pilot fountain pens distributed through Pilot USA.
As far as I know, only in Europe does Pilot sell Metropolitans that take standard international c/c's. Apparently they've split their global market that way.
