I own this sub-woofer and was skeptical because of its low price. I actually use this with an $ 8,000 stereo/speaker set up. I had always interned on upgrading to a SVS PB-2000 but honestly, this little sucker adds just enough kick and thump that I never bothered to upgrade. The sound is tight bass not muffled. If you want a window shaker or have a really large room, a bigger unit like the PB-2000 may be more your speed. Read some reviews on this unit and you will find this little box is a gem for what it does.
