Why would you want GPS in the head-unit when it does Android Auto?
I just did Seattle - Vancouver in a rental with AA and my Moto Z doing all the directions with Maps - great voice and touch integration ... for a head unit which should cost $300 bucks not $800 (that's a next spend for me to get AA in my old Tahoe now I am home).
MasserdonBecause Android Auto will use the external antenna if available, though you are correct the GPS software itself isn't worth it for the extra cost the AVH-W4400NEX is a better/cheaper option on that front. XD
Wi-fi and capacitative touchscreen are nice, but why-oh-why do manufacturers still use such low resolution screens on car receivers (this one is 800x480px)? For a 7" screen they should at least make it 720p
Somebody didn't recall from elementary school "i before e, EXCEPT AFTER c."

Do not buy these units that have integrated GPS because for the price you pay you DO NOT get free map updates which is ridiculus seeing as the GPS is pretty much half the cost of it.
MrPCgamerGot the unit from MassDrop. Installed and was able to get the usb android side plugged into a wireless charger, while retaining the usb Apple side for charging older model iPhones. Unit combo with the Apple CarPlay and wireless charger works great. Still figuring how to use Apple maps on night mode in the CarPlay utility
Just go on Crutchfield and look up the reviews.
I'm replacing a avic 6200 new that was recently stolen out of my vehicle.
after all the research and visiting different stereo shops this is their flagship unit that is well reviewed
