I don't get what Kaihua hot-swap switch sockets mean. Is it telling me that I don't have to solder? And change switches without soldering?
NebukadnezzarJust like a wall socket and a cord, the switch plugs into (and unplugs from) the Kailh hot-swap socket without soldering. The sockets come soldered to the underside of the PCB.

dvorcolCan you use any mx style switch in these? Have had several keyboards fail because I am hard on wasd and it would be awesome to just drop a new switch in!
rojaxIt works with Cherry MX and most clones. My memory is foggy on the "most" detail, but I want to say at least one company's switches don't fit.
Anyone know for sure?
