"We've added the standard Atmel bootloader to the firmware after realizing that was needed! The first article I got last week worked, but wouldn't go into DFU mode for updating the firmware - it's now obvious that this was because it didn't have a bootloader :) I'll be getting 4 of these to test again, and then all of them will be produced and programmed!
Some of the plates started coming in this week - we've got the Grid, Universal, Matias Universal, and standard bottom plates!
The pre-sorted switch packs came today - in the photo, you can see just about everything (keyswitches, keycaps, usb cables) that we've gotten in so far!

We're working our way through the acrylic middle pieces and are getting the brass plates cleaned-up a bit.

I've included a photo of what the rear of the new cases will look like - this is a little cheaper to make, and reduces the chance of it getting marked-up during manufacturing.

I spent a little bit of time the past week working on a Bluetooth mod tutorial for the Planck using some Adafruit parts! There's a video in link that walks through the whole system.
