If you lighten the springs, I'd say leave the 80g on the space bar. I personally dig the heavier weight across the board, but 65 will still give you more substance than blue, so have at. The SIP sockets were a pack of 200 from eBay for not much money, although a bit short (they were nearly flush with the PCB) but got the job done. I find gats to be nicely lubed out of the bag, so the SIPs were all I did. If I feel like doing more, I can still pop them open thanks to the plate design.
