Was pretty nervous going into it but it’s a beautiful monitor, no dead pixels, no problems running at 144hz. It’s in the middle, with a 21” on the left and. 27” on the right if you want some scale.
Best and Fastest screen I've ever had.
Replaced an Acer 27 ",144 hz , 1440. It's a great screen, but this a game changer.
I though maybe too big for comp. gaming but because of the curve it's easy to scan across the screen, actually easier than flat 27"
I'm happy and would buy again.
Oh bottom display port is 144 hz top is 165 hz, almost got mad until I changed ports
If anything changes , I'll come back and change the review
Switching from a 1080p 60hz 24” monitor this really is a game changer, I think this is a really good monitor definitely good for pc gaming which people may disagree with I.e “32 inch is too large” etc. From having this monitor and using it about 10 hours now I can say it’s brilliant. Only downside was paying $96 for shipping then £62 for customs as I’m in the UK, just something to be prepared for if you live in the UK.
Overall Impressed with the screen but lacking some advertised features
The 165hz Freesync is indeed Gsync compatible and works great. The only let down is that the monitor has less HDMI ports and no audio out that are advertised in the drop. I have several consoles and my PC sharing the same speaker system so the lack of an audio out is disappointing for me.
All that means is this model was not officially tested and validated by NVidia. After testing the screen with a dozen AAA games over several days it suffers from none of the issues that non compatible screens suffer from such as flickering or stuttering.
-Nice specs for the price- $300+tax when I bought it
-Arrived pixel perfect and no issues with installation
-Nearly 2 months of usage and no problems so far
-No user manual in the box
-Colors seem a bit off? not sure what exactly it is since I have no experience
-Stand a bit wobbly
One year update-
Great monitor and still works well with minimal issues
-One stuck pixel about 8 months in
-The coloring on the top of the monitor has eroded from where I rest my headset
3 year? update-
I see that the image on the product has been changed so what you get might not be what I have.
-Occasionally the monitor will have a "no support" notification while displaying perfectly find behind it but it can be easily removed by opening a menu
Through 2 weeks of use I'm comfortable giving this monitor 4 stars. I've deducted one star because the included power cable could be better and navigating the Settings menu isn't easy. The cable is not the highest quality and doesn't always provide a secure connection and the joystick for menu is also the on/off button so selections are up & down for select/back and left & right for moving through the options, not the most intuitive design. Everything else has been great.
No issues with dead pixels, flickering, or any other display nightmares.
Received initial order, the screen was damaged in shipping. Contacted them and provided a picture and they promptly shipped out a replacement within hours of reporting issue. Enjoying the monitor very much so, The extra real estate on the left and right in gaming is very helpful. The colors are much better than what I had before.
