Is anyone else missing the tiny crimp tubes to connect the thermistor in the kit? are these necessary?

RekabNo crimp tubes necessary. Cut the black tubing in half, slide it on, and twist or solder the wires together. The black tubing is heat-shrink, just wave a lighter under it.

Careful when you get to cutting the Y belt. Collin's video tells us the wrong measurement and it will be too short. Luckily, I ziptied mine and test fit it before cutting so I caught it.

I got mine, assembled and running now! Unfortunately, i misread the description and I only have 1.75mm filament. Will it print it at all?

Yes, I can indeed confirm that if you try to print with 1.75mm with it the prints wind up being really crappy.

I would love if you listed 3mm filament! I sent an email to Massdrop's support regarding it.

Not amazing yet, but pretty good. Getting any printer finely tuned will take a bit.
