egrepHold on, your right on the part of I won't, first off there is better products of this for cheaper, so I don't want to go through the work of establishing a brand. Can't?.. That's bullshit, I could easily go buy the machinery to make this, it's not that hard, plus it's really easy to mass produce items such as this. I was just stating that this company is plain stupid to think that this pricing for this item is smart, anyone who buys it is not very wise. Even the cost to make this is tiny compared to the selling price. Next time you think about being a little pushover why don't you think before you speak, because using what you might have is better than not using it at all.
MadDog443Better no. Cheaper? Absolutely. Will stand up to the same riggers and abuse? I highly doubt it.
This is coming from someone who had an aluminum one that eventually got worn out and wiggled free one day.
I feel like these conversation corners have turned more into "judge others for their financial decisions regardless of their income" corners.
LaserGuidedSockWell yes I am judging on financial decisions, due to such decisions being horrible. I don't care too much about your personal expertise, not unless your in the industry for key-chains. Yes you can get better ones than this, or make one better than this. Also with how small this is if you really wanted to you could just make the damn thing out of tungsten for a similar price, or less. Screw it why not carbon composite, or that new magnesium based alloy? I hear that is some of the strongest metal on current market. The truth is you shouldn't buy this, it's only good for the ones who are to lazy to actually look for a better deal. That's probably why their still selling this, because people are lazy. But other than that your not really backing up your statement.
MadDog443>gives an anecdote of how I owned an aluminum one and it did break
"Your not really backing up your statement"
I'm willing to bet my shoes size is a larger number than your IQ score. So please keep sideline financial coaching and spouting off halfminded nonsense such as
"I could easily go buy the machinery to make this, it's not that hard, plus it's really easy to mass produce items such as this"
And putting up false equivalents like
"Yes you can get better ones than this, or make one better than this. Also with how small this is if you really wanted to you could just make the damn thing out of tungsten"
You mention you can purchase better ones. Please link a few and I'll gladly give them a look but until then please stop talking out the side of your neck and demonstrate your point rather than type a pointless response.
P.S. if you want to judge others for financial decisions, I have a Sony ZX2. Judge away.
LaserGuidedSockFor example "This is coming from someone who had an aluminum one that eventually got worn out and wiggled free one day." aluminum, not titanium. When you make a product with small mechanisms you must make it out of very tough materials or it will not stand to the beating it will surely take. I am stating that you can buy and/or make better ones out of titanium or stronger for a better bang for your buck, I did not and will not be comparing this product to a weaker material, an aluminum key-chain will not last long compared to titanium.
Also about making it out of tungsten, with the current price of titanium and the net weight of 17g for the key-ring each key ring only costs $0.08 for the materials. While making it out of tungsten would only cost $0.36 for the material.
Now about proof that other people make similar products, they do sell aluminum types but I intentionally ignored those, I found a decent amount of the similar product even if it wasn't as nice as this one it was still functional. These products also come with multiple key-chains that way if you lose one or if it somehow breaks you have another, this means you don't have to buy more and in the long run you save money. At the end of this comment I will leave a small list of links to these products.
So, what is not okay is insulting me, I did not insult you I only stated that you weren't backing your statement. I was however insulting another person due to them just straight out being a toxic person towards me. I was originally trying to keep this mature but obviously cannot do that, insulting my IQ? You don' know who I am or what I do, so don't try to act like you do. If you want to continue this conversation please keep it mature or I will be completely ignoring your responses and/or flag them as harassment.

ThousandMilesThis is pointless, there is no point in trying to beat a rock into submission. They are heavy, slow, and prefer to stay where they are. You are stuck in a argument more than a year ago; I however have things to do, enjoy stagnating.
MadDog443Just so you know that was my first comment in this thread, I wasn’t the guy who commented before. I was just looking for somewhere where I could buy a q-ring now and saw this discussion and thought I would chime in as I’ve actually bought the one I linked in my comment. I’m not a douche who would call someone names of insult there I.Q over something so silly.
By the way I have the Q-Ring now and it is substantially better than the one I linked from amazon, I bought it so it would match the rest of my titanium accessories.
