Are these the newer versions or the older ones? The Acid and Oxide ones look like they are the new SS16 versions, and the Beluga looks like the older version, rather than the newer black and red one.
Also, any chance for some more of the colours?
Bmorris401It looks as if these might not be quite current. On the Rab website, the models "revised for SS16" [Spring/Summer] (apparently they've changed the fit) show different color schemes. For example, the beluga (gray) now has red piping, whereas on MD it has green piping. But probably the fabric is unchanged; they both incorporate polygiene (which doesn't seem to me to make that much difference -- I have the Boreas, use it all the time, in both polygiene and pre-polygiene versions -- & can't tell a huge difference in the rate at which they get smelly).
swimjay@Bmorris401 - this is the current model for the Boreas and Aurora.
@swimjay - good eye! We apparently used an outdated photo of the beluga model. We'll have that corrected shortly. Thanks.
DannyMilksThat's great, and thanks for the update. I think this shirt is completely great -- when backpacking, I wash it every night, & it's dry by morning. It blocks wind well, but isn't sweltery. With the hood up it definitely adds enough warmth that when I'm walking I don't need anything else, even when temps drop. The high SPF is really appreciated -- the hood, when off, bunches up around the back of the neck, protecting an area that often isn't under the shadow of a hat. (And usually one doesn't know whether it is or isn't).
