Out with the old, and in with the new.

My old chair has lasted nearly 10 years with one wheel system replacement, but so happy to finally be putting it on the out. The new RapidX chair is a huge step up for me, if for nothing else, not feeling bolts in my butt. For my size, 6'3", 190lb, it is quite comfortable. Sitting Straight up, the top of my head just barely is seen from the back of the chair. Without the pillow, my head rests above the hard plastic holes, so w/ or w/o it works well. Laying the chair all the way back, although strange, is pretty stable, i have to push off the floor with my feet to make it start lifting off of the floor. Other than that, a neutral feeling i have about this upgraded is that I often sat in my old chair crossed legged, or in some way tucking them under or around me, but those days seam gone on this chair, as the arm bars are to far forward to allow that comfortably, and then there are the side walls of the seat. Sitting in it while i write this, feels a little warm, but my skin is not sticking to the seat at all. The warmness isn't uncomfortable for me, just noticeable. Overall, I really like the chair, and hope to see if it lasts the next 10 years or so lol.
Now, as with the other people, I manage to break the side plastic cover for the bolts (don't smack it), however just the one pictured below. Likely ill remove the lower piece so it doesn't snag on anything, or anyone, or end up pinching the kids if they are messing around with it. After breaking this side, i was much more careful on the other side, rolling it into place and just pushing on it till it popped in. The chair overall was quick to assemble, and following what others have said about the troubles with the back, i used another chair i was able to sit the base in, to hold things in place and position the bolt holes in the correct alignment fairly easily. Spent about 10mins getting it together. Spent more time trying to figure out the lumbar pillow then i did putting the rest of the chair together... likely because i've been up for over a day heh.

BubonicmanIts been awhile, and im still using the chair. Its held up quite nice. The only issue i've been having lately is the lift cylinder has gone out. I can lift the chair to full height, but within 5mins I'm back tot he lowest point again.
