Product Description
Ray-Ban knows its way around a pair of sunglasses—after all, it’s been making ‘em since 1937. The Havana aviators are a reimagining of the classic aviators, which were released the same year the company was founded Read More

This size is hard to find and I am quite happy to get them at this price. I'm not too sure about the lenses, but they can be changed (I may even have spares). What I particularly like about this style is the lens coverage and light weight.

These are very nicely shaped sunnies but they are too large. Although they might go well with your 46mm watch. When I came to US in 1994 Ray-Ban was sold in the CVS and Duane Reed and cost not more than 40 USD full retail. Now that Luxotica created monopoly in Sun glasses these go for 180 retail....As Trump would say : Sad.

I don't get how some people seem to think that polarization is a gift from god??? I think the BIGGER problem with these is how huge they are, I got in on the Zegna drop a few weeks back and they are a similar size and they are close to comically large for my face, and I have a pretty big head! I wish both of these drops offered smaller sizes. I think a 55mm lens would be perfect for in my case. The upside of the larger size is better coverage though, so it's not a total loss.

For everybody complaining, Aviators aren't supposed to be polarized.

The glasses on your Amazon link look like cheap knockoffs with extremely awful metal plating quality, which is hardly surprising considering the price tag.
Like you say the price of polarization is only few dolllars, hence cost isn't the reason those glasses are not polarized. Ray-Ban offer choice of polarized and no-polarized versions, this just happend to be a deal on a non-polarized, gradient pair.
And polarization has nothing to do with UV protection.

The Model 3025 are the classic "aviator" style glasses that popularized the category. The 3025 describes the frame type (particularly the lens shape) and not the actual lens type. I am in the process of having a pair of Rx sunglasses, and am using this frame model. I have migraines and my face shape and the lens shape gives me good coverage. BTW, I am using the classic dark green lens color in glass (rated 83%) which is the maximum light reduction Ray-Ban offers. Bad-mouthing the cheap lens is simply missing the point. Either you like the shape/construction or you don't.

Don't buy this garbage. It's not even polarized.
The cost of adding polarization is only a few dollars. You'd think they could actually sell you something that works for $100.
Here are polarized aviators for $14, fast shipping, the same country of manufacturing, but better quality.

Is it worth $75 for the Rayban logo on the lens and not have 100% UV protection?
If you think G-15 lenses will protect your eyes from UV radiation because only 15% percent of light goes through them, then you are missing the issue that your eyes dilate. Your pupils become wider and thus your eyes get hit with the same amount of light as before when looking through the lens. It gets even worse for your eyes if light ever gets around the lens since glasses won't be perfectly flush with your face.

Mostly everyone who buy this sunglasses is because of the looks and style, not to flight a plane. If ray ban aviator customers were only pilots the model would have been dead.

catchingdropsThe only point made was that was the sole reason the Aviators were designed without polarized lenses. They had at one time driving glasses that were the same exact style with polarized lenses.
