At 51 mm, these are very narrow. My son has a fairly narrow face and he likes the 55. I have the 58 mm gray gradient aviators and I baby them. The quality is indisputable; it comes down to style and size.

I wouldn't call a full 2" wide circular lens narrow, the full measurements are,

Thanks for that clarification. I think that's more helpful than the lens dimension in isolation.
