jkaos92Why are we digging this up, there is 3-5 posts on the IC that goes into who copied who. The people of the IC even stated that Red Scarf had teased it before them on the Korean forums. Nice way of making drama.

XyzacI don't remember when original IC for the RS was made, the ModernM0110 was first posted about 5 months ago.
But indeed no pitchforks please, neither we or RS own the design of the M0110. If 20 different people made one today we couldn't do anything about it. However, I must say that there are flaws with this design for sure that I think ours doesn't have.
Either way, get the one you like most because of you, not because one could be a "copy". They're both kinda copies of a board anyway :)

XyzacChill it's just a joke. Also i still have to see the famous pics of RS posting this way before the IC on GH/Reddit. Anyway both are a remake of a old and popular keyboard so i can't go around and say "hey this is a copy", but still this is a unique project, no way both started that projects without having seen the other.
Closing the Drama paragraph, the one on GH is much better than this for the price. Peace

jkaos92Yeah ok there, I understand you like that interpretation of a modern M0110, but before threadcrapping here but maybe you should actually check your facts before trying to post memes that are false. RS posted renders of their board September 2017, about a month before that interest check came out on geekhack.

Blrag> check your facts before trying to post memes that are false The IC with renders on reddit of the gh board (M0110) is dated 6 August while the actual product from RS was posted on 22 September, 45 days later. So unless you have any pic on when the renders was posted by RS , i still have to see the pics to prove me that the meme is wrong :D

heroyjenkinsThanks for the information. I found the Modern M0110 GH page a few days ago. Lovely project and I definitely prefer it over this RS version but CA66 has taken away all of my money. Atm, I only have enough left for either GMK Taro or GMK Red Samurai/SA Royalty and maybe one or two artisans.

Silent Holy Panda X?

I ordered some Holy Panda X switches, and I fell in love with them. They are a joy to type on. There's just one problem. The place that I use my keyboard to type the most is obviously at work, which is a problem if I want to use the Holy Panda X in the office around a whole bunch of people. I really don't want to torture my coworkers with the clack of these switches. I'd rather they still liked me. The good news is that, for me, the actuation of the Holy Panda X is the best part. I could take or leave the sound it makes; even if it is fantastic. Which leads me to my conundrum: is there another "silent" switch that feels similar to the Holy Panda X? Is there a piece I can remove from the Holy Panda X that would allow me to make them silent? Or am I going to have to wait and see if Drop will drop a Silent Holy Panda X for the in-office mech community?
