Hi, i don't know much about programming keyboards, so I have a question: I want to have the full numpad layout, but be able to switch layers on the numpad and layers on the rest of the keyboard separately from each other, and preferably have two dedicated keys that switch the layers of the two different parts of the keyboard when pressed. Is this possible to do?

JSTePHNI believe so. https://www.massdrop.com/talk/732/programming-the-red-scarf-keyboards shows that 8 FN layers are available; so to me it appears that you could have FN1 change the keyboard and FN2 change the numberpad.

JSTePHNI'm fairly sure that the layers have to apply to the entire board, so if you wanted separate "layers" for just the number pad, you'd just make a whole new layer with just a different number pad. I don't think you can separate parts of the board and change their layers independently from the rest of the board. Though with eight layers, you'd be able to have enough layers to cover a few combinations of alpha/numpad layouts.

JSTePHNThis is a good point, I imagine all that would need to be done is apply the default alphanumeric layout and change the number pad for FN1 then apply the number pad layout and change the alphanumeric for FN2?

JSTePHNOk, I see. That obviously limit's the number of possible combinations, but I guess I won't really need any more considering there are 8FN layers to play around with. At worst I'll just have to change layers a bit more often. Thanks :)
