Wiz dice wouldn't have these more expensive effects though, glow in the dark, etc.

Wiz Dice are really not that great. They feel cheaper and have more rounded edges than Chessex, as well as having worse number painting. I've bought a Pound o Dice and a Wiz Dice big bag, and will never buy Wiz Dice again. They look pretty, though. [img:image.oqk.jpg] in this pic, the Wiz dice are the ones with all the transparent dice and the Chessex are the ones with the pipped d6s.

The isolated issues that were reported with some d12's were due to the polishing process involved with resin dice. All of these dice are no longer made of resin, so the new acrylic mold and process will be similar to almost all of the plastic (acrylic) dice on the market. We made the new acrylic mold to offer higher precision. So yes, these acrylic dice have been tested and have shown to be precise

Yikes - I'd like to jump on all of the glitter dice, but they really need BLACK ink for the numerals for the Light Blue and Light Purple. =\

Yeah, overall I've still gotten pretty random spreads with mine, but I would contact them if I were you. I've definitely seen some skewed randomness over the years in polished plastic dice, which is why I prefer precision or metal :)

Got mine in today. Clear Glow, Blue/White/Gold. Red/White/Black. They seem to be very well made. No imperfections that jump out to me (did have a number that was "filled in" with something, but it popped out with a needle).
$20.00 Gave me 3 complete sets of pretty well made dice. If you compare it to the 19.00 I spent for 60 dice of 4 complete sets, you might think these were too high priced. However, the quality of these dice completely and utterly blow away that cheapo set. 3 Times the price, sure, but overall the quality is worth it.
EDIT: After looking closer at my D12s I notice that the 11s all have one or even more sides that are a bit shorter than all the other sides. For Dice that are 1 dollar apiece, I hoped for better QC. The consistency among all 3 of my sets shows that this is some sort of widespread manufacturing error. I am a bit upset about this, as none of my dice that I paid 25 cents each have this issue.

I don't see the glow in the dark purple set as an option in the purchase menu, was this an accident or are they not available?

was kinda hoping for some precision cut poly dice sets.
i like the colors of these, but i have tons already and no decent set that i can count on to be totally random.
i would go artisan dice, but i cant justify forking out so much for a set....yet...
