Got mine in today. No notice. Just randomly showed up. Glad to have it, will see how the kit works. There does not appear to be a case in the box nor an instruction manual as to how to connect the screen and RBP. Additionally the screen came partly assembled, but instead of being in a black plastic case as shown, it appears to have a wood-like color with writing on it—does not appear to come off. (EDIT: It does! Just wasn't easy.) No remote for the screen either.
Everything else is there, though.
yaygrrSorry, you're right. I forgot to update my comment—it was not made apparent at first, especially as the device was partly assembled and I had to unscrew half of it to get it removed, but after a bit of work I did get it removed.
An instruction manual for the screen would've been nice …
yaygrrI found the screen too heavy for both the pi and the board already on there, and it wasn't clear—because again, there wasn't a manual—if it was possible to plug both into the same power source—which would be ideal due to the design of the setup. Also because I had to remove the covering I had to unscrew a bunch of stuff and those screws aren't anywhere near as tight as they were, particularly under the board.
The cables are way too big considering the weight and design—something more low-profile would have better especially for the HDMI. I'm OK with using them separately, however.
Everything else is there, though.
