I'm shocked that this many sold. It breaks down to 8 dollars each, haha. You can get pocket notebooks for 89 cents at Wal-Mart. Even moleskin brand has a 2 pack for like 5.99 I believe. 40 for a 5 pack is crazy

ItsrainingAnd where, pray tell, did you find Moleskine for that little?

scottrhI can't remember exactly what store. Could've been Barnes & Noble, could've been Amazon. I know for a fact it was way cheaper than this rip off.

ItsrainingJust a reminder that these are the thicker 80 page journals... Yes, the standard field notes are cheaper, but they have much less pages, and the outer cover is much less durable. Just a little perspective. That said, I would probably just get a lot of the cheaper field notes, unless the hard back journal is what you specifically want.

ItsrainingI realize this is quite an old comment, but Rhodia paper quality is vastly superior. For fountain pen users, paper quality is important. Try Rhodia, Clairefontaine, or Tomoe River paper sometime, and then you may understand why people mare willing to pay for it.

ItsrainingThe quality of the Rhodia paper and binding make it a far superior book compared to K-Mart stuff. These are even superior to Molskine notebooks. You're comparing a BMW to a Chevy.
