Looking at Q&A on Amazon, these headphones do not have ACTIVE noise cancelling, only PASSIVE noise cancellation by way of the physical ear bud. The CVC 6.0 noise cancellation is to the microphone for when you're making a phone call. Hopefully that helps anyone who was confused like I was.
Hi ManifoldSky, you are correct, this was a typo mistake from our response team. FiTerra has Passive, not Active noise cancellation. Thanks for the correction!
Can each be used individually? can I use the left one until its on low battery and then switch to the right one while the left is in the case charging?
Hey friend, I never misquoted you or claimed anything you said was incorrect. I just added that in my experience with very similar devices there is indeed an unadvertised way to use each separately from each other, so my suspicion is there might be a way with these as well. I don't believe I need to read anything you said more carefully thank you very much.
patj12As a follow up to this now that I received mine, yes both left and right operate independently if turned on one at a time. It couldn't be simpler. If you just want to use the right one then you just turn on the right one. The only trick to it is adding the right one to your source device as its own bluetooth earphones, since when it connects directly it will have a different bluetooth address from when the left is making connection to your device. In your list of paired devices you have two "FiTerra by RL" and then you can switch back and forth whenever you want.
"Virtually no lag" - False. I have tried these via phone (moto x4), new iMac, and new PC. In all cases there is a noticeable lag when watching videos. It doesn't sync up with people's lips when they talk in videos. For games on phone it's unplayable. For something like a music editor with piano there's a big delay. Touch typing sounds- delay. Could it be the hardware on the phone, PC, and Mac? Sure, but that's the standard so I don't know what they mean by "virtually no delay".
I’ve sworn by these for the past 4 months. But now the left and right ear buds don’t connect to each other. And I’m left with individually connecting earbuds. I’m super unhappy
AryanEHi i've dealt with the same thing at first with my Fire HD Tablet connecting to my FITERRA earbuds. An example of what you need to do to fix it is to go to bluetooth settings on your device, make it forget about the link to the FITERRA earbuds, then hold down both buttons on both earbuds, they should blink blue, then blink Red, then pause then blink blue again. After that it should be Paired and connected!
If you have more issues the producer has a card he sent with the box to email him, and he was absurdly quick to respond, and I was 2 months late to respond to tell him what he told me worked. I hope it goes well for you! I use mine everyday for 12 hours of the day. Sometimes only one bud and not both incase I want one used, then charge it and have the other to use while its charging.
Working great is fine, but you need to be clear about your own product's specification!
Can't do with generic "works great" or "completely compatible". Also, "completely compatible with iOS what? Which protocols *exactly* on iOS?
@Massdrop, what kind of product promotion is this?
Hi @RL_Team ,
I never received an actual response to my question - neither here nor after sending an email to RL support. Has there been any progress regarding the apparent lack of AAC support?
