The Rocketbook Wave and Everlast Smart Notebooks feel just like regular pen and paper, but are endlessly reusable and fully integrated into the technology era. Using the Frixion line of pens (one of which is included), you can take notes, upload them directly to the cloud, to Evernote, to your email, and more with the Rocketbook app Read More
Or just buy a Wacom tablet for like 40 bucks more....and before someone says the stupid comment "well what if someone can't afford the extra 40", don't buy a stupid smart notebook if your bank account can't take an 80 dollar hit.
trevor266There's an inherent difference between the two. For example, some professors do not like students using computers in their lectures, or that the tracking on the tablet may not be exemplary (I cannot say, I don't use digital tablets for writing). That being said, the Rocketbook Everlast feels like writing on a laminated piece of paper, and is basically a washable notebook. Therefore, it doesn't need a computer to connect to, can be used anywhere at any time, and has a theoretical infinite number of reuses. Give it a shot before you bash it :)
Hi people. Just had a question before joining the drop. For the everlast version, does it ever deteriorate? Like after maybe a year, it just doesn't wipe off anymore? Also is the surface for the everlast glossy or just like paper? And it still has all the picture taking capabilities as the other version correct? Thank you all :)
MooshMooshMooshI‘ve had the everlast for about one year and have used it for taking notes in school. It hasnt stopped wiping off but it leaves indentations and if you press really hard that particular indentation would take more effort to wipe off. The paper is like a matte plastic but feels well enough like paper as you write as long as you let it dry a few seconds before to touch the ink or flip a page. Its comparable to like the paper that is used to print on textbooks just a lot thicker and sturdier.
overall opinion: like the concept and worked well enough for me but definitely could use a little more tinkering here and there
You said: '' feel just like regular pen and paper, but are endlessly reusable '' ...
Please, be serious. At the specs it's stated that it can be reused only up to 5 times.
moazzamkThanks for that, I have wanted one at the last drop but again it was only for the usa, at least I could get it from amazon, they were the same price as Rocketbooks.....but with cheaper delivery....but at twice the massdrop price.....
Come on Massdrop when are you going to get with it WRT international shipping
It's sad upon reading the comments that a lot of people are literally trying to find something wrong with what seems like a great product idea. If you don't like the idea please politely move to the next item without acting like a troll.
Erasing with the push of a button. Not a button on the notebook, the button on your microwave. Because you have to put this in the microwave. Ever wished all your notes smelled like stale cheese?
