No problem. Yes, that is correct -- usually chest width is measured just like what the graphic you shared shows, except about 1" below the armpit (not exactly armpit-to-armpit if that makes sense). The measurements are taken on the garment itself (they're not body measurements), and for the chest measurements you see the full circumference would be that number times two. I'll be adding the jacket length in a little bit.
