Do anything for more than 60 years and you’ll probably get good at it. In business since 1953, Rothco makes authentic military apparel—and does it well Read More
Can't understand all the Rothco drops on Massdrop. Rothco is one of those brands you always see at the military surplus store that is cheaper than the rest, and as soon as you put your hands on it you understand why: low quality materials and low quality construction. Never seen a discount that makes a Rothco (or Propper) item worth buying.
I can't find anything resembling a review about these gloves. Price is about $4 less than price at Amazon. But reviews at Amazon mention sizing difficulties, so the inability to return these for a size change seems like a deal breaker.
Why are these being dropped?
They are military 'style', no indication they have been tested and approved by any military.
No waterproofing. This means melting snow will get your hands wet, if that is a concern for your usage. Also no mention of any wind-blocking layer, which I would say is a requirement for anything that is being used in cold weather.

I have poor circulation and my hands are *always* cold. I have a fetish for good gloves. I also have pretty huge hands and XL is usually the minimum size I need (I am trying hard not to put a joke in here). Anyone have more info on these? Price seems good for a decent set of gloves.
