The last time that I wanted to order this jacket, it had a warning saying that the material could cause cancer, so that made me a little worried and I decided against it. Now, that warning seems to be taken out and I notice that the fabric is simply 100% polyester and fleece on the inside. does anybody know anything more about this? I mean, geez, everything causes cancer these days. But still I am very curious about this with it having returned as a drop just in time for the rainy season where I am. Thank you all in advance.
LefibonacciThat's fine. It's just a system to steer you towards using the companies they want you to use but it's all good. Because ya know. The government of California always makes the best life choices for its Own people. I'm definitely going to let them make my life choices for me.
LefibonacciThey don't know shit you don't. They're a fearmongering state and that's it...the same people who proclaim GMOs as poison but let people hock Caster Seeds as medicinal...
Anything and everything can cause cancer when burning, and that's what the "warning" is for.
LefibonacciNope, California puts prop 65 on everything. Since everything that causes cancer, even if it's only 10^-25% chance of it causing cancer, or if 10^-25% of the product is made of a cancer causing compound, has to have prop 65 put onto it. It's the whole "we need the government to protect us from ourselves," kind of sick mentality that is prolific in California.
LefibonacciJesus, look at anything you buy. The batteries in your phone, windshield wiper fluid for your car, a ton of toys. California labels EVERYTHING as potentially causing cancer or birth defects. Tuna has a TI y amount of mercury in it. Guess what?
