Product Description
The Rothco Tactical Trauma Kit is a complete first aid kit that has medical tools to address a variety of injuries during an emergency. Treat cuts with the antiseptic towelettes, larger wounds with the blood stopper kit, and scalds or other burns with the burn gel Read More
Rothco is well known to make low quality, copycat products for the military surplus crowd. Paying nearly $40 for what amounts to band-aids and a pair of scissors is ridiculous.
A Cleox plunger, two chest seals, an 8 and 12 Israli, gloves, two large bact pads, a forcept and a scissor is what should actually be in here. A couple morphine ampules would be nice if you can get them.
Come on, Massdrop. Didn't you learn your lesson last time you posted this lame ass booboo kit?

danglesAs of right now 11 purchased and lowest price unlocked for this lame ass booboo kit (love your description, by the way.) As long as there are suckers buying, I guess Massdrop will keep selling. I've decided many don't even scan the discussion before clicking the oooodiscountgottahaveit button.
Might have been a joke but sadly there is all sorts of advice to carry them for this very reason on forums and youtde. Never understood it. Not medically trained but my mom was. Pretty sure she would have advice better uses for it and better items to stop bleeding.
Good to see there are already more than a few members who corrected the misleading advertising of this product as a 'tactical trauma kit'. Sure it looks like one in a molle case but what's inside make me laugh or cry, I don't know to be honest ;-)
It's missing some crucial items when you want this to put in use as a real trauma kit. For starters it's missing a tourniquet (CAT, SOFTT-W, SWAT-T, etc. or whatever you prefer), a good blood clotting agent (such as QuikClot or Celox), a space blanket, a trauma bandage (such as an Israeli Bandage) and if you do prefer Chest Seals and more.
So I think there is absolutely a place for this 'kit' but not as the advertised trauma kit, more like a so called minimalistic boo boo kit.
