Is the keyboard pictured a KBP v60 with Matias switches? If so, how is the compatibility with it? My understanding is that most cases will not work correctly with it due to the screw mounts, or lack thereof.
I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I don't understand reddit. I'm working on getting better at that. :)

Has the issue been resolved with glue in the screw holes? Want to mount this with my pok3r?

That's an interesting wording....does that mean that you feel it's important that they solve it, or that you know that they have solved it...two very different things.

Jman13I'm hoping for the latter, of course.

Erm...Wood is hydroscopic, plastic isn't. Unless the blanks are stabilized, I would worry about cracking my pcb if it was screwed in without some allowance for movement caused by moisture changes.
Great info and thanks very much. Obviously you're very knowledgeable on the subject and if you ever have the time I would love to hear your feedback or opinions on these sorts of items. We're always on Skype and IRC, so just throwing it out there :)
AlexPkYou are most welcome. :)
I actually did sent a note though the support system, but I have not heard back yet. But yes, I'd be happy to chat.

I would love to order this case now that it has dropped again, but the past comments about missaligned standoffs is really putting me off. I won't join unless it is confirmed by Massdrop that the issue has been resolved.
Any word on this, Massdrop? Or @WoodLab Kevin ?

ealiagach13 weeks later, and they're still mute on the issue. Suspicious, to say the least.

You know..... I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt. Despite all the product complaints, I gave them a shot. There appears to be more than a year of time to have solved these issues with the standoff’s not being correctly placed....but no. Not a single screw is aligned properly. Not. One. I mean.... Do you guys not have a template you can just set down in these and drill the holes so they’re correct every time? I’m blown away. I can’t even drill my own holes because they would over lap with the misaligned ones. It would have been better if there were no holes at all.

I've been able to install my Pok3r RGB in two of these cases but I had to install the screws about halfway and then tighten them down. Also, on my first one I had to remove all of the standoffs and reinstall with two part epoxy to get them to stay in. On the second one I had to replace the standoffs that were filled with gorilla glue and epoxy them back in.
BTW, you could move standoffs even with an overlap using some epoxy putty to fill the holes and redrill but it is a bit ridiculous and there really is no excuse for it.
Let's just say I know I won't be ordering any more Royal Glam products. :/

hyperspriteIn my case none of the screws lined up with any of the holes, so there wasn’t going to be any halfway tightening unfortunately. The epoxy idea would work, I just didn’t think of it at the time. I’ve been wanting the Pok3r rgb for a while, so I might spend some time on it to make that work I guess. Undecided at the moment on whether I want to go the extra mile.

If you see "keyboard" and "60%" together and don't know what's up, you aren't the target audience for this. You're not going to be assembling a keyboard.

WoodLab Kevinsorry for bothering, just wanted to contact you directly. I seemed to have removed the polish off my wrist rest with a Clorox disinfecting wipe (there was a rough spot that I thought was dirty, the whole area became as rough as that spot). Would you recommend a solution to reapply to that area? Either a polish or some kind of other finish that you used. Need your help desperately, it feels weird. Want to restore to the same condition as I got it in.
ilyaperepelitsause the 180 sandpaper first, and then 320 600 1000,1500 or 2000 if you want. those numerical not need to the same, near by is also work. then you can use the oil to clean and polish it,it will became better.

Can someone from Massdrop comment on if the standoff issue has been remedied?

I'm really confused why so many people are still supporting this drop, considering the number of reported problems. I really want to buy one, but with such bad quality control, I can't bring myself to pull the trigger

linnesI've had my reservations based on what I've seen too, but I did get a headphone stand a while back that's excellent. There weren't any issues and it's sitting pretty on the desk today. Hopefully this drop will be the same.

I bought this in the previous drop. The quality is not great, especially given that it cost $100 for what is basically a machined block of wood. It does NOT come with attached rubber feet as they claim, but rather tiny rubber feet that do not come attached, and when you put them on they barely even stick to the wood (I've lost two in two weeks). The keyboard plate itself does not sit in the center of the tray (large gap on the left, no gap on the right). One of the screw supports is not in the correct position, making it impossible to put all the screws in. When I turned over the keyboard it FELL OUT because the screw holes are not even glued in. The hole on the back is not in the proper position to be able to plug the keyboard in (I had to cut mine to be bigger). The screws that came with it don't even fit in the late manufactured Poker 2s (this made me madder than anything).
It's almost as if no one at the manufacturing place actually _tried_ this product. Very disappointed in Massdrop. I do think it's a very neat product and I will continue to use it, but not worth $90 given the quality.

fink0136Damn.. now I feel like I want to cancel my order. But the pic on the description page looks so well-made! Since I've seen some replies from the makers that they're adding some new-and-improved features suggested by the buyers, I'm gonna give this one a chance.
One question though... why didn't you ask for a refund/exchange if you thought it was so unacceptable? I definitely would have.

illiHey! Don't cancel! I will say that overall I _do_ like this product. I don't want to return it. I am annoyed with the quality given the price, but having said that, I would not be able to make something like this on my own, and the work that needs to be done to make it better is within my abilities.
