The resin turns yellow in a matter of months. The wood also get warped so it cannot be parked snugly at the bottom of the keyboard. The light colored wood part is also coarse to touch
It looks like pictured, feels nice and smooth, comfy to wrest my wrist on. Didnt have any complaints about the look.
The big complaint I have is that it stains my skin from touching the wood. I wish there was like a gloss one top of the wood to prevent this. Also the rubber feet suck, I ended up just glueing mine on with gorilla glue instead of the adhesive that comes already on the rubber feet.
I recieved mine with about 4 holes in the resin and many more visible bubbles, some of which had been poorly filled and resanded.
From some of the other pictures, it looks like they're not all like this, so I would have been more than willing to spend more to get one that was a quality product.
If you buy one I wish you luck because they are nice from the pictures; unfortunately, mine just didn't align to my expectations and I returned it.
Pretty nice looking, but its hard to clean. Once you wipe it with a damp cloth, it will no longer be smooth. Some sort of finisher would have been nice. The tiny rubber feet, although it comes with 8, is fairly inadequate. I had to buy a hefty set from Amazon to replace it with. Still, I use it every day, and love to look at and use. I like how beefy it is, compared to other ones that are thin and not so supportive.
Rubber bumpon nubs slide around a tiny bit. Sealer on the black wood portion remains great. Sealer on wood colored portion of wood wears away quickly leaving an unsatisfying sandpaper feel. I got 2 air bubbles in mine. It’s an okay product.
I've had mine for a while now, and it's pretty fantastic. Looks great, feel good to use. Does develop a slight (very slight) bow to it after you've been resting on it for a while. The little rubber feet work well but I've noticed that they tend to slide off after a few months of the micro-movements of typing. Rubber would fix that but might show up more since part of the rest is transparent.
Not really worth it to be honest, Had the wrist rest for about ~6 months or so and within the first 2 weeks the wood warped so its no longer flat. There are a lot of bubbles in mine so ymmv. Novel idea and it looks great on paper but I wouldn't buy again.
