TomasVIt pertains to the "edge", 'age' as in a person age has nothing to do with 'edge', it's a common misspelling.
Many consider selvage an American bastardization of "Self-edge".

Received my pair yesterday too.
Same here with the buttons. After the first wear, the lowest (!) button just fell off.
Also I am not sure if this is really 15oz, comparing the Sage Scout with my Unbranded UB201 (14.5oz), the UB201 feels way heavier.. The inner canvas (?) pockets also seem heavier than the denim itself. Can someone with a bigger raw collection / knowledge shed more light on this?
Apart from that, the construction and seams look solid.

Received my pair today. It is really nice pair of jeans, but alas two top buttons of the fly are missing!! I wonder how this passed QC checks.

planecrazyI got my pair yesterday and have now had the second from the top button pop off...... Really not happy with the fact I spent this kind of money on some pants and have already had a button pop off. Really unacceptable

I received mine yesterday. I have a few pairs of jeans from Sage and am very impressed with the quality. As timothyd4y mentioned, the rise is high but not too much so. I prefer a bit too high to too low. I haven't measured, but I think the inseam is closer to 36" than 34".
Also, Massdrop, please use USPS to Canada instead of DHL so we're not dinged with so many extra costs.

Received mine yesterday and am impressed. The denim feels good and the gold thread on the selvage tape is a nice touch. Sizing is very accurate. I can order a 30 in pretty much everything and these were right on the money. These have a higher rise than I usually go for, but have the slim profile that I like.
