This is a fantastic little stand. It folds up and can be stored nicely. When deployed it can be locked at specific heights with a pin for added security, or can be compression locked anywhere along the length of the pole. The sticky pad it comes with works superbly. I use it as a way of having a laptop accessible at my desktop at home, but I could see this easily being used at a performance, it is built very well.
