Been wearing it 87 days straight and still can’t smell it! Softer than a pimp’s mink coat! Lighter than a spider web but oh so warm! Perfect jammies for kicking back with your vapes and netflix! Conceals a Glock 43 with no bulges! Wash it in the sink for extended travel! Makes your pecs look like dynamite! Chicks can’t resist stroking it! Seriously guys, it will change your life!

Beyond expectations
I'm a big merino wool fan. I've several pullover Ts from Smartwool and Ibex. Saxx has a good reputation, but not in the pullover shirt realm. I must say, I was surprised in pleasing fashion from the get go. I ordered a Mens Large, my usual size. I expected things to be a bit snug, but in fact the Saxx shirt fit is almost loose. A wash and dry heat was enough to make it perfect. And when I say perfect, I mean it feels like I'm not wearing a shirt! The fabric is thin (.15 maybe???). A light breeze pulls away sweat, so it dries much faster than most merino shirts. For me, a heavy sweater hiking in the southeastern, very humid mountains, this shirt is damn near perfect. On cool, cloudy and/or windy days, I wear a wind vest over the shirt to control chill-off. On warm days (below 70F), I push the sleeves up. On cold days (35F and below) which are typically windy or cloudy, I wear a heavier merino shirt from a different manufacturer. To give an idea of temp range compatibility the Saxx merino shirt is cooler than a nice, long sleeve cotton T shirt (such as Patagonia) , but warmer than a Columbia button down fishing shirt. Unfortunately, Drop now only offers knives and keyboard caps. No diversity in offerings any more!

Very comfortable, nice stretch, stitching is in the right places to avoid rubbing when wearing a pack. Knocking a star off because it runs much larger than expected. I bought a medium, hoping for a fitted shirt that I could wear under a button up, but it feels like a large. (I'm 6' and 185 lbs.) If I buy another, it would definitely be a small.

This is my favorite merino underwear to date and I've tried quite a few brands including Ibex, Icebreaker and Smartwool. The Saxx design does indeed provide superior comfort--I only bought 5 pairs so I sometimes have to go to one of my old standards between laundries. I immediately notice the difference. Saxx is better, perhaps even "life changing" as it says on the package. As for quality and longevity, I've been wearing them every day, washing in warm water and hang drying. All 5 pairs are still like new after a year of use. I wear them year round except on maybe the hottest and most humid of New England summer days, but even then, I could still be comfortable in them.

Ordered 2 large tops, but they were HUGE, more like xxlarge. Of course massdrop will not let me return or replace so I'm out 80bucks. Massdrop is simply a poor way to buy gear without a return policy. I won't be using them again.

Wasn't a great product.  The merino baselayer bottoms developed several holes all during the first use in the backcountry.  Massdrop claimed that they could not help me get a replacement product because my claim was not made within 30 days of purchase; however, the manufacturer SAXX accepted my claim and gave me a credit to replace the product, and I was very happy with their responsiveness to the issue.

Ordered a small it fits like a medium or large. I have several Merino shirts like this from Ice Breaker, they fit properly and the fabric texture is much better. Wont be buying SAXX again.

Its a little loose in the fit. I am a solid large but this style of first layer should be snug, this is not.

They fit great and feel good. However I have an issue with the quality of the construction. Mine came with a lot of frayed threads on the stitching that connects the waist band to the rest of the underwear. This is obviously an issue for me as this was a rather expensive item. $16 for a pair of underwear that is poorly constructed isn't going to cut it. Too bad because the actual design is really well thought-out.

good shirt, a little heavy
the difference between 150 and 185 weight was more than i expected. this is a little too heavy for summer hiking.
