Product Description
Compatible with most sewing machines and applicable to most projects, the Schmetz Microtex Needles come thinner and sharper than the Schmetz’s Universal Point Needles. Their extremely sharp, acute points make them perfect for topstitching, piecing, quilting, and appliqué Read More
Hello, the description said these needles are Made in Germany. I ordered two boxes and they are made in India. Can you please explain? Can you send me the ones made in Germany? Thank you.
Grace101Schmetz is a prestigious German company. They may very well have them processed in another country under their supervision like many other companies do to keep the price low.
amd.quilterHi @amd.quilter,
You can always tell if you are in a drop by going to your profile pic in the top right and clicking on transactions. This will show you which drops you joined and order details. Hope that helps!
romilleHi @romille,
That link is for the Universal needles which we drop at a lower price than what's shown on that website. This drop is for the Microtex needles and are more expensive.
Can you (Massdrop) let us know if you will be sending out the needles for this drop without putting the stickers directly on the packages? I'm hoping you heard RipStitcher, AnneV and justpeachyme's comments. Thanks.
So I got my needles... I love you guys and have been a big supporter for you... but I'm really disappointed that you sent this out this way.
It would be nice (next time) if you're going to put a nasty-sticky (did I say *nasty*?) goobery sticker all over these packages if you'd also include a free bottle of GooGone. Who is "Sharons" anyway? (name on the label). ??? If you need a darn barcode on these little packages, you should have thrown them into a small ziploc baggie and stickered the heck out of that - instead of making a big mess on these packages.

RipStitcherI completely agree. Next time use sticker that are removable. The lackages kf the needles are not trow away. They stay in our sewing drawer for months.
Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in tomorrow. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 5/19 or sooner if something comes up.
+1 for more stock if possible! I would buy the 80/12s. Given that the drop was limited to 69 and 30 have sold, selling out the smaller sizes, the drop is heavily weighted with 100s, which I would have thought would be the least popular size.
kirkenollThanks, @kirkenoll, for letting us know!
Are more people interested in the Size 60/8?
If so, I'll reach out to the vendor on behalf of the group and see how many Size 60/8 Schmetz Microtex bulk needles we can offer.
Thanks,
~ Rita
I am in need of machine embroidery needles. Will they be offered anytime soon? I saw that these needles can do either, but I would feel better knowing that my machine won’t break on me from using a universal needle rather than a specific needle only for machine embroidery. Thank You.
