I wanted to like this drop. However, at $50 you can get a similar Lamy Al-Star bundle, which is much better value.
For just a bit more you could get the Lamy Lx...
As a starter bundle this drop would have been much better if the sleeve was replaced by a Rhodia pad, or Clairefontaine notebook.
You need paper to start writing. Leather pen sleeve? Not so much. Especially not for a really basic pen such as this.
