This automatic timepiece by Sea-Gull, equipped with Chinese-made Sea-Gull ST2528 movement, features an aperture at the 6 o’clock position that depicts the current phase of the moon, from new to full and all points in between. The complication has a window between the 9 and 3 o’clock positions that serves as a dual date window, displaying the day of the month. As each day passes, a golden moon surrounded by stars passes through the window, waxing and waning according to its current phase. The subdial at 6 o’clock also houses the watch’s small second hand, which features a red tip.
Note: This drop is limited to 20 units.
Adorned with a circular pattern, the dial is equipped with applied hour markers and a lumed arabic numeral at the 12 o’clock position, below which sits a date window. The hands are also lumed. A 14-millimeter case features a sapphire crystal on the front as well as on the display caseback. Pushers at the 4 and 10 o’clock positions control the moonphase complication and date display, respectively. The watch comes on a leather strap with black stitching and a dual push-button deployant clasp.
