Would not recommend these products. I got the 1080p version just a couple of weeks ago, and had the same "colorful" issue as noiirrlc. The QA on these items is not very good, all electronics are exposed, and overall, it's just bad quality. Save your money for something worth it.

According to Drop, your products have no warranty, and email support is not likely to fix burning electronics. Also funny how you commented on the ACTIVE sale, and said nothing on the closed drop with my initial review and issues. Just steer clear guys.
JCDittoDear Customer, Than you for your attention. For  burning electronics,  we suspect that there are conductive things cause a short circuit and also we suggest customer follow below instructions to modify the config.txt https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=https://github.com/SeeedDocument/Pi_screen/raw/master/Instructions_for_use.pdf

I connected mine up to a Raspberry PI 3 with the included cables. The moment I powered it up there were colorful patterns all over the screen. I thought I might just have the wrong settings so I changed them according to the documentation (the same PDF another poster linked). This only resulted in the smell of burnt electronics, the screen basically fried itself and wouldn't turn on again.
noirrlcDear Customer, Thank you for your support to our product. Please send us the details step by step operation on the raspberry pi and lcd connection. we suspect that there are conductive things cause a short circuit. we checked with history record and there is no burn issue. Please take a picture about the burn area. We need your feedback to find the root cause, thank you.

Will this attach to a VESA mount?

GWCAI don't think they even make VESA mounts that small. Seeed's website says it's 69.5mm tall and the smallest VESA standard I could find is 75x75mm.

GWCAThis is about the same size as a modern smartphone screen. No way it will be able to fit to a vesa mount without modifications. Zip Ties should be able to do it.
