From Colorado-based company Seek Outside, the Revolution-Fortress 4800/5800 combo is great for long-distance treks through the Brooks Range, gear-intensive sports like packrafting, and any time you have to haul a deer out of the woods. The frame can carry up to 120 pounds comfortably, and the modular setup allows you to use it with the Fortress pack, the Talon daypack, or both—or swap them out for other bags entirely. Made from durable, waterproof X-Pac fabric, the main pack has a volume of 4,800 cubic inches, with an additional 3,000 cubic inches in the Talon and loaf shelf combined. All told, the system weighs less than 4 pounds.
Note: This drop includes the standard Revolution frame, the Fortress pack in Expedition Olive, and the Base Talon pack. At checkout, you’ll have your choice of hipbelt sizes (S, M, L, or XL). You’ll also have the option to add a 2 in (5 cm) or 4 in (10 cm) frame extension (+ $10). All packs are handmade to order, and due to differences in fabric weight, pack weights may vary by a few ounces from the manufacturer-stated weight. Quantities are limited to 20 units.
