Back again at the same price--still a good deal with lots of color options.
If we weren't all a bunch of picky watch-snobs, any of these would be good enough--even for us!
UPDATE: 5/26/20 price is $99
Burger is getting sued by a vegan who got one of those ‘thing’ burgers because it was cooked on the same grill they cook the meat.
In other unrelated news, joma is having a sale and they have the new Seiko sumos for $577, plus you can always find a $25 off coupon.
Too bad am in an "all auto" period, else this is a very pretty chronograph, with a dial that's not too busy for once. And it's Seiko, my favorite brand! I'll buy it next time!
Looks like this same assortment was selling for $89 last time around--meaning MD is asking us to pay ten-bucks more for the same watch.
There are two possible reasons for that...
A) someone has to pay for the new "free" rewards program, or
B) Gordon Gecko decided to accept an intern position at MD.
Have a difficult time believing these were ever intended for the North American market (or the JDM either). All of which leads me to believe there exists a middle market (possibly Tolkien's Middle Earth) where watches of a more "generic" design appeal to a more "generic" demographic (Shop teachers, cost accountants and actuaries, for example).
Still, there's a little more to them than the sleepy images above would lead one to believe. Here's a couple of those annoying voiceless videos where someone fondles the watch as unrelated music plays in the background.
