I just paid $280 from Amazon a week ago for the 775. I wish I'd known this drop was coming but it is a great watch. Let me warn you that there are a lot of reports of misaligned bezels on the turtle models. That was why I paid a bit more to get it from Amazon instead of eBay. My bezel is off by half a click (120 clicks so 0.25 of a minute marker). I decided it was within tolerance and I had just as much chance of getting one that was worse. You can Google and find pictures of ones that are pretty badly misaligned.
Since they are all the same price in this drop, it's cheaper to get one with a bracelet and later on buy the (very nice) silicone strap instead of doing it the other way around. The bracelet fits a big wrist. I had to remove two links for my 7.25 inch wrist.
I like that this watch is distinctly Seiko and isn't trying to look like a Rolex or Omega. Even a snooty site like Hodinkee sings its praises. https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/long-term-wear-report-on-the-seiko-turtle-srp-775-black-and-gold

dillthepillDon't you have 14 days Amazon return window? Are you prime?

OneLoveIt's true, I could. It's even a fashion item so Amazon doesn't charge return shipping. I did scratch up one of the links when I was removing it (the pin and collar system Seiko uses is a huge pain in the ass). I have it and I don't want to wait another month so I'll probably keep it.

dillthepillI think you meant to say the chapter ring to 12 o'clock misalignment. Bezel is the outside outer ring that rotates. And yes, these are know to have chapter ring misalignment.
I have the SRPA21 and it's my daily driver. These also look great with a NATO strap
