Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. While these seem to have great potential, I'm not really impressed with these compared to my AKG pack ins from my Galaxy S8. Bass is great, loads of detail but vocals and sound in general seem a bit flat sounding and distant(?) in comparison. I've tried the various tips to make sure I got a good seal but it made no difference in the sound. I have also used different sources to test, Galaxy S8, Sound Blaster X G5, G6, AudioEngine D3 and a Monoprice Hybrid Tube Dac/Amp.
-update I gave these a good 60+ hour burn in with pink and white noise. They have really opened up, I am very pleased with how these sound. No regrets.
