These IEMs, sound amazing as you might of heard. However, there is a caveat if you do plan to purchase your own pair. The biggest downfall of this product is not sound quality, not at all, but rather the cables that come with it. The original cables are really brittle, and overtime will cause a rupture on the cable near by the Left or Right connect. It simply does not matter how well you take care of them, eventually you will encounter this problem. Worst part is, that wear-and-tear is not covered under their 2 year warranty, so you are left on your own to find your replacements somewhere else.
I use them just like any real user, not a bot, would use them after spending $200+ on a pair of earphones. I use them literally on average 12+ hours, everyday, while eating, doing homework, working out. The only times that there would be a notable wear-and-tear is during my workout session, with each session consisting of +/- 45 minutes of strength training, 4 times a week. The metal box that comes with it to store them, does little work to prevent from this unavoidable flaw from ruining your experience.
Third party audio cord replacement sellers, have equally outrageous products, since they do not do anything to address the existing flaws of the original cables. I am assuming that they are aware of these issues, but they simply ignore them so that you would keep on spending money on their overpriced products, and consequently you fall on a cycle of 'supply and demand' unfortunately . That being said, I got tired of spending money on cord replacements, that I decided to make my own pair with quality materials, and strengthening the region near the connectors to avoid constant ruptures overtime.
