I have a vintage Kenmore 158 and my question other than (Can a table be cut to fit this? What information do I need to give?) is can I use this table as an insert if at a later date I find a suitable work surface to drop my machine flush to a tabletop. Would I need to cut a lip for the plexiglass?

noctameHi @noctame, Do you know the year of your machine? I will pass that along to Sew Steady and get an answer for you.
Regarding being able to use it as an insert at a later date, I'm not sure I understand your question. If you have a work surface where you drop in your sewing machine, it creates the same flush, larger surface that this table creates. Also, I don't know that a table would have a big enough opening to allow for both the sewing machine and the sewer's wish table. Let me know if that answered your question.

SandyLucasI think it's from the 1960s. The secondary model number starts with a13 as in 158.13

noctameHi @noctame, I'll reach out to Sew Steady but I'm not sure I'll get a response before the drop ends since it's the weekend. I'll be sure to post here if I get a response.

noctame@noctame, there should be a few more digits after 158.13? Like 158.130 or something similar?
