In what way does a spinning top qualify as a piece of every day carry gear? Do you guys really load your pockets with spinning tops before heading out the door? This seems like hobby shop stuff and not everyday carry.

cbaratzI don't carry lockpicks, knives, lighters, firestarters, handkerchiefs, pens, watches, backpacks, flashlights, pry bars, multi-tools, or water bottles in my everyday life, but I can see and respect others who might.

cbaratzI imagine that some folks carry a type of toy with them too occupy them in a waiting room or something. I carry a book with me most days when I'm out doing errands, or have to commute somewhere on public transit.
