I'm sorry if this puts anyone off from ordering these iems
Anyway, my thoughts on these after owning them and using them daily for 2 weeks:
Awful.
Extremely sibilant. Poor bass response. Reminded me a lot of the shure srh940

GL1TCH3DI had these for a couple months before selling them. The key negatives for me were comfort and use. I found that the back of the body put pressure on my ears for some reason. The other issue is the removable cable. It is bulky, and tends to swivel around making it a time-consuming process to get things aligned correctly. Since Shure now uses the same shell for most of their phones this brand is a non-starter for me until they change this design.
As to the sound, I was not impressed. Certainly not as good as the Shure E4C (single driver) that I was trying to replace due to cable failure. A little better bass I guess than the E4C. It seems that Shure figured out what they wanted to do in the 535 model, and then hobbled the 425 by removing drivers to get to a different price point. What they ended up with is an IEM where parts of the sound seem to be missing.

bthurberI found comfort to be really good for my ears at least. I have the same thoughts as you in respect to the 425 being just a 535 with removed drivers.
The 425 sounded so tinny
Anyway best of luck to your searches for good IEMs. The fibass were awful. Shure 846 was really big. Same issue with the Roxannes. I just decided to get customs because I can't be bothered switching out every month anymore trying to get a slightly better fit with a different model of universals or tips.
