CarlosUnchainedI am leaning hard toward the Schiit Fulla 2 based off of sound quality. If you are needing the extra inputs (BT, aux, coax, optical) then the SMSL is the choice if down to only these two products. Last thing that may be a dealbreaker for the SMSL is you would have to connect your active speakers to the front headphone out via 3.5mm stereo jack to dual RCA (or other method) whereas the Schiit has a pre-out AND line out on the back of the unit.

Striker579The fulla 2 must sound great but is a different animal. The smsl can power passive speakers and has more features foronly 21 dollars more.the only plus for the fulla is not shit quality but schit quality made in the usa!!!!

CarlosUnchainedIf you have active speakers already, I'd opt for the Micca Origen+. This product is not for you. As for the Fulla 2, I owned one, the the volume pot was noisy within the first week. Made in USA doesn't mean the parts are made in the USA, and it doesn't guarantee a non-defective unit.

spiritofjerryapparently yea the schiit fulla 2 seems to be rushed to market and had missed/skimped on QC checks.
