Jesh00Massdrop does not offer extended warranties. Yes, you will be able to extend your coverage through Sony. After the drop, you will receive an email from Sony that your TV has been registered and you have warranty. Once you receive that email you can call Sony and extend your services.

Tex-ArozziIf you have a Costco membership they offer a squaretrade warranty for TVs over $1000 for $99. You need to purchase it within 60 days of your tv purchase.

metric152Yep that is true. However, Costco does not have Sony OLED's.
They only have the LG B7P OLED's which are also available on Massdrop right now for MUCH less than Costco.

So, while we do not offer square trade warranty we are killing them on price. Also, since our products do have the original warranty with the manufacturer you can use they savings to more than pay for extended warranty through LG or Sony.

PsychicPickleyou can also buy this drop with an Amex platinum or other card that doubles the original manufacturer's warranty...there's no premium on this

I have joined the drop and received my product safe and sound. You mentioned before on the thread that I could call Sony and purchase an extended warranty through them but I have called Sony and they have told me I could not do that since the product was not purchased through Sony.

Have you received your email from Sony with your registered warranty information yet? Also, that comment about being able to purchase extended warranty was in the LG OLED drop. I dont think I have ever mentioned being able to do so with Sony. That does not mean its not possible however. Please let me know if you have gotten your email about the warranty and then I will contact you offline.
