The description is misleading. This is *not* a full frame (FE) lens. It’s an E mount, so it will attach to the a7 series, but the lens is automatically recognized as APS-C format and the field of view is cropped accordingly. The crop can be overridden, but severe vignetting will result. The effective range of this lens on a full frame model is 27-165mm.
the description should be modified to reflect this.. anyone mounting this on an a7-class Sony and expecting an ultra wide 18mm image is going to be disappointed, especially for this price.
