I actually just purchased these yesterday, still not super familiar with them but I drove them with my portable amp at work and I think these have a very "unique" presentation of sound. The transitions from Bass->Mid->Treble blend in a very interesting way that i actually find extremely enjoyable. The bass is definitely elevated and a bit loose for my taste, the mids are slightly unnatural but not in an overly offensive way. With that said these are SUBLIMELY comfortable, the pictures can't encapsulate how beautiful the fit and finish is because Sony have really outdone themselves in that respect.
But as again I got these less than 24 hours ago.
