Sashua, you are correct! But I find that to be a small trade off considering the difference in price. At this price, there are way too many competitors from China that are doing a fantastic job with their latest offerings. Fiio X3 Gen 2 is already available for sale and costs 200, the iBasso DX50 is just as flexible, offer more features and come with user replaceable batteries. I own the DX90 and the battery life on a single charge isn't great, but I own 4 extra batteries and therefore have over 40 hours of playback. I'm sure that the A17 is quite capable, but I think it's a tough sell at this price and spec.
Xuelin's UI implementation is fairly bad. The program is also sensitive to the kind of encoders used, so some music files don't play properly on the Xuelin when converted to WAV from FLAC for 24bit files. I recently tried to play a 88khz 24 bit file on the Xuelin converted to WAV from FLAC and it doesn't play correctly. So Sony definitely would have them beat there. But there aren't very many offerings for 24bit files over 44.1KHz anyway so I'm sure the trade off isn't as bad.

DeathbyMusicI own the dx90 and the sony and while dx90 has a far more capable amp, sony is definitely the better all-rounder. It's extremely portable and the battery lasts for ages. If you're using a dap to use with easy to drive headphones or IEMs, the sony has my vote.
