If I remember correctly this version is usually a $350 street price lens. I can't resist - I usually use primes with my NEX-7 (either the Sony SEL24/35/50 trio or adapted manual focus Nikkors or Zuikos) but having this along with the kit lens would allow me to also use the NEX as a casual travel camera.
